Automated Fast DL Demo Syncs - Bot Invex - 09-11-2017
We have automated our Fast Download Demo Sync system.
Previously, an admin would be able to sync demos upon request which would then allow anybody to download updated demo files.
Server admins can no longer manually perform syncs.
Head admins and Staff can still trigger manual syncs but this should never be required.
Our servers now automatically sync the demos for all servers every 15 minutes (at minutes 0, 15, 30 and 45).
Keep in mind the actual sync may take some time (i.e. 2 minutes).
To download demos now, wait until the map is over, then wait until the next sync time and download your demos.
For example, if the current map ended at 4:41 PM, you know the next sync starts at 4:45PM.
Assuming the sync takes 2 minutes, you will be able to download the demo at 4:47 PM.
Relevant threads have also been updated.
This thread will stay open for a while to find any potential bugs and syncing issues.

I still think the jailbreak one should be synced on later periods, 15 minute periods would be basically useless as that's 3 rounds.

15 minutes is fine i guess, wouldnt have to wait a whole hour if you just miss the time :/

yes, this will actually encourage me to make then because before i just cbf if it was abuse worthy but not worth the time of someone syncing it

So its fine/easier this way.
The more frequently you sync, the less time the sync takes.
Right now you have to wait max 15 minutes after a map ends to get the demo you want which is great.
