zac Wanna go and read the second comment on this thread bud? https://www.invexgaming.com.au/showthread.php?tid=8914

Also there,s not much you can do about it. It picks up on an in game trigger of someone pressing down their mic key.

is a measure of DB possible? So that you are required to go above a small decibel threshold, not too much, but just enough so that it can’t be detected by white noise of just pushing the mic key?

I'm pretty sure when there's no mic plugged in it makes a static sound when it's used in CS:GO. People still might be able bypass it, aswell as 10 year olds screaming into their mic so that they can stay on CT.

Also is there a way to code a DB measure thingy? Masta Squidward Byte

This isn't that big of a problem. There's atleast 1 admin in majority of the time and people swap over if the community asks. The only time people without Mics go on CT (most of the time) is the autoswap

No there is no easy method to get the speaking volume.

However, I see one improvement that can be made.
If someone is muted (i.e. by admins) and they try to use their mic, they will pass mic check.
I can block people who are muted from passing the mic check (even though really admins should swap over people who they want to mute for long periods of time as you can't really CT with a mute).
Will be added in next Wardentools update.

Besides that if someone uses their mic and says nothing/doesn't have a mic, it will still pass.
However, that is abuse so it should be dealt with and the warden can feel free to ask specific people to say someone on their mic to check.
