Mathew_1 says you can't say where someone was last seen or he will mute you but other admins don't really give a shit, can someone clarify if it is against the rules or nah?

Yes, do NOT say last seen, as people tend to use it as a ghost.
Example - Beax kills me at elevator, he leaves, then goes back in; "BEAX LAST SEEN ELEVATOR"
That's ghosting, do not say last seen please and thanks. I'm sure all other surf admins can confirm.

Just to add, this has always been a rule, coming under as 'ghosting'.
It's common sense, everyone should know not to call out as you are dead.
So yeah, please don't call where you last saw a player.

This was never allowed. People decided to call out 'last seen' soon after it was decided you could call if you tagged someone.
Admins let this off, but now people are using this as an excuse to ghost.
So it's back to being not allowed. Sorry, too many rulebreakers lol.

I don't really enforce this rule much as it is not an official rule as of now. Generally I let people say where they had last seen someone once as soon as they die as you only stay in the spot that you were last seen for 1 - 3 seconds (unless your camping ;p), however say if I killed Mathew_1 in elevator I'd allow him to say that I was last seen elevator once as soon as he died, however if he said that then I left, and then came back into elevator and he says @"Lil Woah" last seen elevator, that is when I would warn people as you are ghosting out my position. I'm all for the last seen position to be called out as soon as you die, however if somebody repeatedly calls out last seen when you are in the position you killed the player thats when I would count that call as ghosting. I'm not going to enforce this rule as of now (unless other admins such as Sir Lagalot or ev0 tell me otherwise) as this rule is not yet official and nobody should be muted for a rule that is not yet official because how are you supposed to know its a rule. ;p.
Anyways Surf Rules are being refined as of now, and hopefully they will be released in the near future which may see some changes in the current rules. So for now I'm going to allow people to say last seen (ONCE) as the rule about not saying this isnt official. I know that there is a ghosting rule and the basic understanding of ghosting is that you cannot give any information about players who are alive while you are dead, but the rule about last seen I tackle the same way as when you tag somebody, if you tag somebody but die you are allowed to tell the alive players how much you tagged a certain person and I view the last seen rule the same as this. You last saw them in 'this position' therefore you are allowed to tell the alive players that you last saw them there. (But only once) (Probably worded this bad but yeah)
