Top 10 Awards Automated - Bot Invex - 02-12-2017
Top 10 Awards has been automated.
How it works:
- On the 1st day of each month (at midnight), the top 10 players are taken off all gameME servers.
- A thread is posted in the relevant forum section.
- Forum awards are given out with a PM sent (if winners have a forum account)
- Credits are given out.
- VIP is given out.
- Ranks are then automatically reset at 11AM of that day. This is a gameME limitation, I'm trying to see if it can be changed to 1:00AM instead. Will update this thread if that is possible.
As a result, admins should be careful in removing any cheaters who are banned for cheating from the top 10 rewards before the date rewards are given out.

should also add the thing where it mentions if the player is eligible to receive awards because of admin/staff status etc.

That is no longer a thing.
A while ago we removed that and now only the top 10 get rewards regardless of their rank/eligibility.

Haha nice work Byte good step in the right direction (automated JB POTM thread??? That somehow takes all the nominated names and filters them in to a poll after 24 hours, that would be mean if possible.)

PoosKi the best way I can think of automating it would be
Rebel- x amount of players with most kills as a T get put into the poll
Guard - most active wardens by playtime during month as CT or warden.
Would eliminate people voting players who don't actually play.
Ie people who don't warden or actually rebel.

Keep in mind that people can earn kills as a T with special days so someone could win a few HGs and then be on the top

doesnt matter its still fair because everybody has the chance to do the special day
