Challenge - Fr0st - 03-12-2017
I see a lot of new players joining with their friends which is awesome to see, but what sucks is that they try to challenge each other, inevitably realising that there is no !challenge command, which leads them to join another server or find another method to play eachother. I think it would be great to see this implemented as it will add a new environment and aspect of the server, another bonus would be challenging Swo-Z and getting free points because he is as skilled as a BOT

Byte and I were talking about this and if I remember correctly he liked the idea of challenge but we didn't really understand how it would work when you do the !challenge command, do you just go to the bottom arenas when the command is used or do you stay in the same arena? I'm going to read into it and if our questions can be answered by the person who makes the plugin@"Fr0st":^)
edit: Also there's no harm in just trying it out on the server if it doesn't work or we find out it can be abused to farm points we can remove it.

Swo-Z might be a bit difficult but when you use the !challenge command it comes up with a list of people (like store would come up with options) and you pick who you wish to challenge.
That person would then get a prompt in chat (if this popped up as store people could abuse it to fuck with people trying to switch weapons) asking them if they would like to !accept or !deny the request.
If !accept 'ed both players would be moved to the bottom arena and points would be disabled for those 2 (if possible to remove point farming).
Who ever won would then move up an arena like usual and points would be turned on for them again.

Magikarp Ah I get you it's annoying when you have to vote for things and you can't switch weapon I mean the concept of challenge is cool but like if you wanna vs someone either just get to the top and vs them or both of you go spec and join again and you guys will be in the bottom arena together

Couldnt it be done without a popup Menu? Just sm_challenge [Name] /!Challenge [Name]. And if you typed !challenge (Being a new player) then a prompt would come up in the chat telling you how to use the plugin it would say "Type !Challenge [Name]" or something. And if you recieved a Challenge there could just be a Message in chat Saying "You have been Challenged by [Name]. Type !accept or !decline" or something.
