13/02/2016 Plugin Updates - Byte - 13-02-2016

Warden
  • Removed 'Admin has fired warden' message for normal warden deaths. This message now only shows if admin removes the warden.

Warden Tools
  • !wt menus and submenus reorganised
  • Menus now have a back button
  • Default beam duration is now 20 seconds
  • The maximum amount of placeable beams at once is now 7
  • Added player highlighting feature (https://www.invexgaming.com.au/showthread.php?tid=976)
  • Fixed bugs with laser being available after death as well as submenu commands

Also beam changes seem to be much better. Usually the warden would have to replace a beam because it would disappear too quickly but 20 seconds is perfect as they have enough time to give new orders and place the next beam.

hm, could be a little long between beams to dissipate when trying to order prisoners to go somewhere, might end up standing there for a bit waiting for a beam to disappear

Worked really well in the games I playtested, at least it was much better than the 10 second beams.

is there the possibility of making a Clear beam button if it becomes an issue.

edit: Also make sure that the highlight clear doesn't clear the wardens Highlight

Beams work in a different way so its possible but annoying, hopefully its not an issue and wardens dont spam it. Even if they do spam it, 7 doesn't look too bad anyway.

And the highlight clear only affects alive T's. One bad thing though is that it will clear the rebel status from rebelling T's but it should only be used when all T's are present and after a team based game so if its used properly there won't be any abuse there.
