Ct rule 12 is: GUARDS may not break and enter any vents. However, GUARDS can follow PRISONERS into the vent to clear that vent. GUARDS may enter a vent ONLY if the vent is open. GUARDS may break vents if its the only way to escape vents, they are taking damage from the world or it is LR period.

I suggest that if a ct sees a rebeller through a vent he is allowed to shoot the rebeller. I'm not saying shoot a vent to get to a T, but shooting a T when the vent is in the way. I know it's hard to admin the difference between them but it is sort've bs

It's okay if you accidentally shoot the vent while killing a T, but breaking the vent to kill a T on the other side of the vent shouldn't be allowed. -1

yea, the only map I can recall this being relevant on is peanut, with the vent that leads to armoury hall. CT's can see through the vent and it's pretty annoying when the T can just sit on the other side of the vent, knowing they're invincible. They just have to wait for the CT's to leave, break through the vent, and run to armoury.

i don't think it's worth changing the rules because of this specific example though

-1 not needed and people will just break vents if they know people are in there and say they saw them

rule ct12 is to give prisoners ways to escape/hide and where cts cant enter by force this rule edit would be stoopid

im not saying they enter by force im saying if you can see a t on the other side its very annoying having to wait for a t to shoot you first or break the vent

i think peanuts is the only map (or at least one of the most played) that this can happen. it sucks that you have to wait for a t to fully break a vent before you can shoot, leaving very little time or health to fight back
