He told me I was gun spamming and I went to the rules pressed ctrl + f and typed gun spa (https://gyazo.com/9126454342be9ba9120d57979d2857fb) only thing that came up was "R8: DO NOT attempt to exploit/crash the server (ie spamming gun spawners)." I wasn't spamming gun spwaners as there were no spawners and the guns are/were already generated onto the map. I don't understand how moving guns is an attempt to gun spam as I was killing time while DJC was LRing.

This might not be relevant but i can confirm that you are allowed to pickup/throw guns that are already spawned in like in the map obama, and all other maps that don't have gun spawners. I've seen others do this and its completely fine as i have done it multiple times before and not been warned or banned for doing this. So technically i can confirm without being on to see this(due to experience and being told that this is fine and doesn't make the server lag)

Ok, lemme give some self defense. It IS gun spamming, while you are not creating new entities it is still creating unnecessary strain on the server. As the guns on display have no physics and when you pick them up and drop them it gives them physics. So it IS a rule break and based on the ban length (1 day), I msged the admins on discord and asked (also added context about it being renegade) Andi told me to ban you for 1 day and then make an abuse report. This is what I have done and what I am going to do. If magi, or a member of staff thinks otherwise on this course of action I would happily accept it to be lowered, dropped, me being banned myself or whatever the course of action may be. I simply acted on my own knowledge of these rules and how csgo works and then on the collective knowledge that I was able to assertain from the admins that were online at the time.

I was a witniss on this and I think jubbimo is right. This is a gun spam and it may or not crash the server (idk) but I was in a Lr with valance. The last gun spam abuse report was classed as abuse and sentaces with a 3 day ban

@"Lycid." I cant see sens info so idk if there is anything there but there was (at the time of the report) direct rules saying you cant order knifing distance or anything of that matter, while I banned you for a real rule. Rule R8.

what I was referring to by posting that link is that I consulted with pooski prior to me making the thread if Forgotten was in the wrong, I made the report and we figured out that we were wrong so what I am trying to say is that you should've consulted with more admins or magi or a staff member but if they didn't respond you should've just made an abuse report

"Throwing guns that have already been spawned is not gun spam. It's weapon spam if you're creating new entities, which throwing weapons doesn't." - mr. gegmin
