Admin applications express your interest in becoming an administrator on our servers.
Server administrator abilities are only given out on an INVITE basis. This means that you must make an application in the section below where people can post their recommendations.
If your application receives good feedback from the community, a current admin will make an 'admin app' thread in the internal admin only forum section and all admins discuss the application.
Finally a staff member makes the final decision to accept or reject the admin application.

Requirements
  • Be an Invex Member or higher before you can apply to become an administrator.
  • Have 25 posts on the forums before applying.
  • Have a forum account for over 2 weeks to be able to apply.
  • Be older than 15 years old. (or be mature enough for us to make an exception)
  • Have at least 40 hours on the server (instructions to check hours are here).
  • Be active on the server AND forums (especially the server(s) you are applying for).
  • You must not have a HIGH or VERY HIGH severity ban in the last month.
  • Use the provided application templates when applying.
Some important guidelines
  • You SHOULD NOT ask for admin or beg for admin. You can ask current admins for feedback but please don't ask too frequently.
  • You MUST have 1 current admin on the server you are applying for recommend (+1) you before you post your admin application. If you fail to do this your application will be instantly rejected. This admin cannot be a trial admin. Admins can only recommend a maximum of 2 people per month.
  • Admins will keep an eye on this section but may take some time to reply.
  • You must wait at LEAST 2 weeks before you post another admin application if your previous admin application failed.

Responding to Comments
When you post an Admin Application, and you receive feedback. It is best just to acknowledge and accept the feedback/constructive criticism, instead of causing an argument, or rejecting the persons comment - It not only makes you look unprofessional but also decreases your chance of being accepted. Rejecting peoples comments on your application shows that you are immature and incapable of being an administrator. It is best to reply with something like "Thanks for the constructive criticism, I will try to work on that."

Giving Feedback
Invex Members and higher are able to provide feedback on admin applications.

When you go to +1 or -1 the applicant, really think about what you are going to say and back up your opinion with strong evidence. If you put no effort in replying to someones application, the comment will not be taken seriously and will just be disregarded or deleted. Please think hard about why you are actually agreeing or disagreeing with the persons ability to fill in the role of an admin.

What increases my chances of getting accepted?
  • Applying at a time when we are actually looking for more admins!
  • Following all the servers/forum rules
  • Being active on our servers
  • Being active on our forums
  • Donating to the server to financially support us
  • Getting along with other players and especially admins
  • Having no HIGH+ severity bans in our community and other communities.
  • Having recommendations from multiple members (+1's)
  • Not asking current staff/admins about your application status frequently
  • Waiting a month between applications. This allows us to see if and how you have changed to better fit the roll.
Getting Accepted
If your admin application is approved, you will be promoted to admin for the nominated server but you will be considered a trial admin for the first 3 months after you obtain admin. During this time other server administrators have authority over you and can overrule you. Use this time to learn how to admin well and to learn about the admin commands. A Staff Member will let you know when your trial period is over (they may give it to you early in rare cases if you have contributed a lot). Trial admins do not receive free VIP as a perk until their trial period is over.

Note: There is no custom tag or rank for trial admins.
