Invex Treasure Hunt #3

Welcome to the Invex Treasure Hunt #3.
The hunt is returning once again so brace yourselves.

Rules:

There are 10 stages to the hunt.
All stages must be solved in order for you to finish the hunt.
You must solve all stages in ascending order (1 first then 2 etc).
Each stage will provide a hint or clue about how to reach the next stage.
If you see the text Stage X of Y it means you have reached Stage X.
You must keep a personally diary (notepad file) with the solution for each stage to submit as your final answer.
Only make 1 submission with all of the solutions once you have reached the final stage.
You will know when you are done with the hunt as it will tell you to PM Byte.
You may work in teams if you like but do not discuss solutions in any public area.
You must be registered on the forums with a forum account to participate in the hunt. Otherwise, some stages may not work and you cannot win any prizes or place in the top 10.
Teaming is allowed but only only individuals may finish in the top 10.
Sharing/trading answers privately is allowed!
Tricking is allowed in general and with answer sharing! Be careful who you trust. Only will always provide 100% accurate information.
This thread can be used for general discussion etc.
A Discord Text channel has also been made (#treasure_hunt) for general discussion etc.
DO NOT GIVE OUT SOLUTIONS OR HINTS IN PUBLIC PLACES.
Staff will give out hints as time goes on (to help people get closer to finishing)
Staff may participate but are ineligible to win prizes.

Stage 7 of 10: Looks for some clues about where to go next and then look again!

Once you are in your sisters room, you can search 4 different areas: Desk, Bed, Closet, Diary

Every refresh, you get 1 hint. There is a 93% chance of getting a bad/meaningless hint and a 7% chance of getting a good/meaningful hint.

Each different area has 1 general idea that you needed to try and reach the next stage.

Overall, the hints would tell you you need to play CSGO. You need to get 'wet/fix water' indicating you need to play on Surf.

Buckle and WILD hinted at the map buck wild. You need 1 meant you only need 1 kill. ~ and console hinted at opening your console.

So we hop on Invex Surf, play on buck wild and get 1 kill then check out console to reach stage 8.

We also get a secret letter 'A'.

One Word Story #3

Each person posts a single word and everybody tries to create a story.

Rules:

Only one word can be said at a time.
You can't post two replies in a row (you have to wait for someone else to reply before posting again).
Punctuation is not seen as a word.
Teaming is allowed.
Story must be somewhat funny/interesting/etc.
After at least 15 words in the current story, someone can end the last story with a full stop . and start a new story with a new word. Only do this if the old story isn't going anywhere/is getting boring.

Welcome to the Invex Treasure Hunt #2.
The hunt is returning due to its popularity the last time it was run.

Rules:

Dad.php was a part of the last treasure hunt. It says to try another page. Trying mum.php brings up a new page. However, we are still on Stage 6 of 7.

Keep an eye out for the cog on dad.php, it will come in handy later.

Going to mum.php, you see a similar time based event like last treasure hunt.

Upon refreshing the page you notice a new 'mum random fact' is printed.

Pressing on 'Play Minecraft' gives you a failure message.

You also have to notice the guess part of the url increasing by 1 everytime you press 'Play Minecraft!'.

Here you had to pay attention to two specific facts:

    'Mum has over 126513486 subscribers on Youtube',

    'Mum hates rule breakers. She always takes a minute to write abuse reports as soon as demos are synced.',

The first stage was to put the only number in the facts into the guess part of the url and refresh the page giving you a new message saying mum likes that number.

The second stage was to refresh the page as soon as demos are synced (which is once every 15 minutes at minutes 0,15,30,45). Mum 'takes a minute' so you had 1 minute to refresh the page every 15 minutes to get to the next stage.

Welcome to the very first Invex Treasure Hunt.
This forum game has been discussed in the past and we are finally doing a test run to see if people enjoy it.
If people like it, more will be done in the future.

Rules:

There are 7 stages to the hunt.
All stages must be solved in order for you to finish the hunt.
You must solve all stages in ascending order (1 first then 2 etc).
Each stage will provide 1 or more hints or clues about the next stage.

How to play:

Someone would create the timeline and scene w/ location etc.
Then they will give two options and the next person chooses one option and continue the story for a sentence then give another two options.
Note that both options may still lead to the same ending or same scene and sometimes even if you would've picked the other option it still would've led you there because fate.
The story teller can end the story or if the person in the story dies.
The genre is not restricted.
Have fun.

Example (Person 1): It's the year 2025 and all chaos has amidst around Tokyo (does that make sense?) you're walking down a destroyed pathway as if someone has taken chunks out of it and eaten it, you see a house that looks completely unscathed.

Options:

Go to the door and take a peek to see if you can scavenge anything.
Keep going on the pathway.

Example (Person 2): (Option) Go to the door and take a peek to see if you can scavenge anything

You slightly open the door and see a mysterious ghostlike silhouette walking towards you and it disappears, you hear a noise towards the left side of the house.

Options:

Your curiosity gets the best of you and you check out where the noise is coming from.
Continue looking in the part of the house that the noise isn't coming from.

Example (Person 3 ): (Option) Continue looking in the part of the house that the noise isn't coming from house.

And so on.

Welcome to Picture Stories.

We will be making a story using only pictures.

Rules:

Pictures only, no text allowed! (Pictures can have some text in them though).
Pictures must be somehow relates to last picture so they tell a story.
Pictures can be photoshoped/edited etc.
No inappropriate images (personal info, porn etc).
After ~5-10 pictures. One person posts a picture saying 'The End' and also writes up a text version of the last story (story recap). This is the only text allowed.
Don't reply to say you likes a picture etc, use the 'Like' feature.
