Admins have always been given free VIP on the server they admin on as a reward for helping keep the servers fun and clean. We believe this is important as it is the main way we can recognise the contributions of admins.
However, this has led to members making admin applications for the sole reason of getting free VIP.
Thus, new admins will no longer receive VIP perks until 3 months after their application is accepted. There will be admin reviews conducted during this time to ensure the admin is doing a good job. This time is set in stone, unless staff members deem the admin has contributed enough in order to get the perks earlier (rare). If an ex-admin reapplies for admin, this wait time does not apply to them.
This will ensure our admin team is the best it can be in the long run.
So i recently got H1 and a few days after i got it 80% of the time the game would crash on the loading screen and its pretty frustrating. As im loading into a match loads for about 30 seconds, freezes, then crashes i tried Verifying Game Cache, didnt work so if you guys could help that would be AWWWEEESOME!!
I was thinking that a way to get people to play on Jail Break a lot more we should implement ranking system on the server. The way it works is that every time a T gets a kill being a prisoner during a normal day they would receive 1 point. CT's will also receive a point every time they kill a rebelling/kos prisoner.
Examples ->
The pointing system will go as the following:
PRISONERS
- Amateur = 0
- Novice = 35
- Learner = 75
- Skilled = 150
- Expert = 250
- Pro-Rebeller = 500
GUARDS
- Amateur 0
- Novice = 100
- learner = 250
- Skilled 500
- Expert 850
- Guard-Master - 1500
Now for CT's considering how the warden could just be a kill hungry whore I believe 1500 points to receive Master-Guard is sufficient. (obviously this pointing system is my own opinion and the change of points and such is fully up to the Invex owners)
Pros
- Would get people more into JB
- Would show which CT's/T's are good
- Makes it easier for new players to follow the high ranked people and learn from them
- New people would want to stay and join the community
Cons
- CT's could be a lot more nazi
- The coding would be a bitch
- Wardens could become kill hungry whores
- Would get rid of group tags
Just wanted to point out that DatAiM has gotten the Bounty Hunter award on Surf some time ago.
However, he has no forum account so he can't get the award.
Props to him though!

All linked Steam ID's on the forums have been reset as they were all unverified.
In other words, we had no idea if people's linked steam accounts were theirs.
This caused issues with playtime leaderboards, unban requests etc.
We will now use Steam API to verify all Steam accounts linked to forum accounts.
Users with no linked steam account will not have access to some features such as PlayTime stats, CT bans links, ability to make unban requests etc.
So please link your Steam ID as soon as possible! Especially if you are a regular member.
As many may know it's not possible to edit a shoutbox post in the steam browser. Can we add support for this by not using a pop up thing and instead changing to the original system?
