The event took place when I was warden, I was doing slap game in the outside pool on renegade. I toggled freeze bomb and they had just frozen. I started to slap them from about 5 secs. Then they went flying (as normal). Ownaj got slapped outside of the map, (Well on top of maincell) he then came back and jumped into the pool. I killed Ownaj just to be slayed by him, then he left. 3 minutes before this, he banned Millions of peaches for 1440 minutes. (1 day exactly).
So basically everyone knows Ownaj and I dislike one another. Any way, was playing JB today he logs on and I said wow admining is so hard. Next minute 24hour ban. This is a massive abuse of power. Just another demonstration of Ownaj abusing his power. I'm also requesting an unban.
Hey dudes,
An easy majority of people who play jailbreak would know I come on jailbreak, and I figured, considering I have 20,000+ minutes playtime, I'd share some advice with the player base who are actually interested in wardening properly.
The first thing to note about this thread, is there is a difference between genuinely wardening, and doing a freeze-bomb and only taking the lowest and highest to lr. Or any game that murders everyone except two to go to lr. I, and the community are all in favor of games to pick a winner to receive a prize, but not to entirely waste a day. In the worst case scenario, and you do decide to pick a game which will kill a majority of the game within two minutes, then your ultimately wasting a day. HOWEVER, there is a solution, (believe it or not) and it's actually to be creative. Players such as n8, who (to my understanding) introduced the table game to the major play-base (you know, the on on Summer-Jail where you jump around and try not to fall.) Or other players like gandalf & Prince who introduced their one 'Simon Says' bootlegs but with newer twists that spiced things up. Creativity is something lacking within the common player-base and warden's, instead of taking the risk of trying something new, they do the same old same old, and wastes a day, or even diverts players from playing on Invex Jailbreak. Creativity is so valuable, and with coming up with your own enjoyable games you can genuinely influence the server so positively.
In summary, if your going to warden, don't be a dickhead, make something new and get involved. Instead of ruing the unique feel on Jailbreak. As a community we need to bond, not bicket. Because together, we can make jailbreak great again.
So, I'll give you a situation. There's a normal guntoss and general, fair rules were given. The T goes first because it was a dangerous LR and throws his gun. The lazer comes up on his gun and he then picks it up because the indicator is there. The CT then throws his gun but because he noticed that the T's gun was picked up (and the lazer was still there), does that make the T KOS?
So, I'm always seeing people "break" (if these even are rules) these rules. The first one is telecamping. I understand that telecamping isn't allowed for CT's but I'm always hearing mixed messages as to whether T's are allowed to do it. I'm pretty sure they can't but I just want confirmation. The other rule is about unfair LR's. The way I've been playing it is if a T does a clear unfair LR like having a race through a tele that's different for CT's, I simply brand them as KOS. But I heard an admin (can't remember who) say that it's just simply against the rules?
