Just an idea Can we add in team captains into team deathmatch? For example: Server randomly picks 2,3,4,5 team captains based on the amount of teams that can be made from the amount of players, These Team Captains can now choose who they want on their team (excludes other captains).
Just like the Weapon skin popup where you scroll through pages of players and select them to be on your team. Maybe a 30 second period since the gamemode TDM is selected for captains to choose their team members then it begins.
Those who don't pick players on their team get the rest of the players not picked. Say 2 captains don't pick anyone at all the server randomly picks members from those not selected to join the teams with lesser players or none at all to balance it out. Just an idea.

Too complicated, required too much effort to implement and too much cooperation from T's for whats meant to be a simple special day.

If you want to team up right now, you can on hunger games.
In the future a team deathmatch round might be added that picks teams based on distance from other players so people close together get put on the same team.

But this specific team captain idea won't be implemented.

I guess some people might like it as random as it makes it diverse and not just a bunch of super good players, against lesser players. But i completely agree and option to choose teams would make the day alot more enjoyable, as you can join friends and have fun. If this gets added hopefully it isn't abused and always have an op team.

how about giving highlights but tdm is turned off in first 60 secs, give ts time to team and gather, otherwise its prettty much FFA

What if you could have a menu that came up at the 'warmup' time of the TDM round that had all the players names and it allows you to choose 1 preference.
So if two players choose each other maybe it could be a guaranteed team up.
And if 1 player chooses the other but not each other there's a higher chance
and maybe a menu that came up as well to choose a player you dont want on your team.
