[COMBAT SURF] unnecessary slaying

on dust 2 over core theres admins who cry if you shoot as you land into jail and boost. theres nothing wrong with it and never has been.
its the same as if i was on ski fell into jail and shot someone who was exiting, its not my fault if they are leaving the dust overcore jail slower then i am. and good on myself for timing the shot to be able to shoot someone. besides that at anytime ive killed anyone doing that they have never been faster then myself. this "rule" was made because admins cry when they die.
theres no jail camp, because im leaving it
2, theres no telecamp because i enter after them.

After hearing from both ev0 and PoosKi that they had both started enforcing the rule of not shooting as soon as you go into dust2 tele, I too decided to enforce it so as to keep consistency with the rules. Understandably not all of the surf player base knows about this relatively new rule so I gladly explained it to you and the rest of the server. After I had given you multiple warnings that you were breaking rules, you still insisted on shooting as soon as you went into the jail. Not only does this show blatant disrespect for the rules of the server but also the admins who are just trying to make the most enjoyable experience for all players. Perhaps if you would like to dispute a rule then a better place would be in a suggestions thread not an abuse report one. Anyway, I will let a staff member to decide the outcome of this abuse report. Perhaps I did jump the ball and should have waited until this rule was officially posted in the surf rules thread however I was just concerned about the inconsistency of rules between admins as this has been a problem in the past.

Its not an official rule, there for i wasnt breaking any rules. therefore it was an unnecessary slay.
you gave me a warning saying you were going to slay me for a rule that isnt even in the rules.
I kept shooting there because i knew it wasnt a rule because i know all the rules for every server.

The point im trying to get across is you can do that on any bloody map why should it matter on dust overcore
its not my fault if someone cant get the boost or is a slow surfer. bad luck for them. people can avoid places like jail and actually surf.

examples:
ski, i could be following someone, saw they fell into jail and i could fall into it all and instantly shooting. he may of moved away which means i would missed or i would have a chance to kill him. same concept as dust to but diferent maps.

Space zone, i could chase someone, see they fall in and follow them into jail and shoot in attempt to kill them.
none of these breaks rules.

big loop, i could be surfing following someone, (which is rare in the first place because its a bhop map and should be considered a surf map)
see them fall into jail after say getting the awp or a gun and falling and shoot as i go through. i have a 1 in 4 chance of even hitting them because theres 4 jail spawns.

This rule was made due to an unfair advantage against the person who was already boosting in jail. The player who fell in first can't do much in this situation.

I too have started enforcing this rule throughout the server as other admins have. I think it's a good idea to start warning people of this rule, as many people have decided it does cause an unfair advantage, and so is most likely being added to the surf rules thread.

The difference for dust 2, is that the jail is used for a boost, as there are no other boosts on the map. So falling into jail is a common thing people do to get speed. On Ski, you don't see someone constantly falling into jail on purpose.

Just try not to shoot into jail while boosting on dust 2, just makes things unfair

noname the point is that if you want to make suggestions for surf rules then the suggestion section of the forums is the best place for it. While on the server you should follow the rules which the admins have decided on and put in place. The fact is that you kept on breaking rules even after I warned you multiple times. Your disregard for my warnings and the rules is the reason for your slay. If you want a rule changed then purposely breaking that rule in game isn't the best way to let admins know you want it changed.

Its not unfair because everyone has the came chance of doing it against one and another. If you die by it suck it up. Find a different way. The only reason its so popular for a boost is jetpack because people jetpack down long over the bars. Everyone has the same chance of doing it to another player so it wouldn't be unfair. Its the same as stabbing someone when going through that boost/jail. Shooting only boosts your chance of killing someone.

Also Sir Lagalot this isnt a suggestion this is clearly an abuse report on yourself for slaying me for something that isnt even a official rule and is a "made up" rule. By what im saying is me trying to get my point across that its completely fair. Even if its considered "an unfair advantage" in comp of your holding an angle you have an advantage by able to see them first. Your not gonna move because you think its unfair, you will use it. Like 1 way smokes.

I agree with the first statement. You shouldn't be slayed for breaking rules that aren't even listed.
But when an admin says they will slay you for doing XYZ and you do XYZ anyway then you certainly can't argue about being slain.
Overall, the new surf rules are way overdue and need to be pushed out ASAP.
