Holy shit yes. Most of the time when I am dead I ALT + TAB and just browse the internet. I do not know when the next round has started which would mean if I don't ALT + TAB back into CS:GO and don't make any movement I would be moved to the spectators side and possibly be kicked. A beeping sound would be really helpful.

Then on the other hand, I could just sit on the internet all day, leave my CS:GO open and every time I hear a beep I make a little movement then go back to browsing the internet so I don't know about this. Players can take advantage and farm for credits.
