People seem to misunderstand the rule.
T's should be able to REBEL at any time. This means they can rebel at the start of the game, before LR, during LR and after LR. You can't expect a prisoner to follow the rules and this makes it more fun. However, T's that rebel are rebelling and are thus KOS. The fairness rule doesn't contradict anything. It just means you can't say "Okay we are doing a custom LR, I make this easy skill jump and you do the hard one, loser dies". If a T cheats during LR by (for example) doing the most jump contest then knifing the CT in the back then they have just cheated/rebelled and are KOS! Any other CT can straight up shoot them or kill them on sight even if they start another LR. People seem to think that they can cheat and continue to LR and CT's can't do anything about it, this was never the case. Deamo has been trying to clear that up. Now that you understand the rule we can talk about changing it or making it more clear. Rule CT47 was added to make this rule clear. Personally I like the fact that T's can rebel in LR's, it makes it so CT's always have to watch out for cheating T's and to kill them quickly after the T loses the LR etc. Obviously if theres only 1 T and 1 CT left then the T can pretty much guarantee a win by cheating after they lose but I still think I'd prefer that as opposed to forcing T's to not rebel during the LR stages.

The reason byte I am agreeing to this change is that it is normally unexpected to occur
I myself prepare If they fail the back stab I bhop away before I shoot him down Others to don't it fair and that's why Byte I think there should be a slight change if there is room for it

Byte If the terrorists start an LR away from the other ct's they can cheat their LR and start another without guards being able to kill him. The guards have no choice whether the LR starts or not and cant defend themselves from a swift knife in the back as they teleport. Prisoners cant be killed during LR by other guards either. This means if they're quick enough selecting their LR they are immune and have a guaranteed win. Not everyone does this but when it happens it isn't fun or challenging or anything it's just annoying.

I do agree with Byte though regarding "T's should be able to REBEL at any time. This means they can rebel at the start of the game, before LR, during LR and after LR. You can't expect a prisoner to follow the rules and this makes it more fun." But yeah, if there are complaints regarding any LR resulting into a tele-to-kill or something, I'd suggest probably creating a shield on the LR'd players for a couple seconds before start.. especially since Jumping Contest starts after 3 seconds anyways? Idk just a thought. It's not unusual..

Just to give my off-topic thoughts on LR's, race ought to be at least patched so that the person setting up the race doesn't have an advantage due to the other player not knowing the course.
Jumping contest is ludicrously bad and should be removed. I do not agree with your thoughts on race. From personal experience the CT always gets a head start anyway... Besides it's a CT's responsibility to supervise the Ts. Also remember Ts work hard to reach the !lr stage they need all the chances they can get. Edit: b-hop always wins anyway.... Jumping contest needs to have knife removed to match the same idea as race. Also I think the !lr rule should be amended to become: Terrorists can rebel at anytime except during when an active beacon is in operation. So this would basically mean if they chose an !lr they must commit to it. After winning that !lr they can rebel or continue doing !lr. If they rebel then attempt a new !lr they are allowed to complete the !lr but still KOS in conclusion for rebelling it's that simple. |
