I have been on a few different surf servers trying to find a solution on telecamping and jail camping. I found 1 server that had it that you can only stay in jail for like 30 seconds or so until you die automatic and I think there is a warning in the chat for you I am not really sure.

There is also a plugin which adds a message pop up in chat which says the players name and what weapon they are using, we could use that also

It also beacons them...I reckon the plugin b1 suggested is better than just explosion.

If the plugin is private then i'd have to make it myself.
Seems easy enough, make a grid for coords of jail for each map.
Then if someone stays there long enough -> do something.

We could slay them, make them slowly start losing hp, beacon them, glow them etc.
Remember somemaps you can't escape on your own (easily) so there is that.
Best way to handle this may just be a chat feature that helps admins find jail campers.

I'd love if it were something like that, but after 20 seconds, a player loses 20hp a second.
Frankly, no one should be in a jail like ski's for over 20 seconds as it is, so strict measures should be taken from that point. This should only apply to certain maps, however.
The jails of dust2, ski, and any other map where escape is always easily possible should have the removal of health as suggested above, but display the message you and B1 suggested on maps like griver and bano where players often stay involuntarily in jail.

If a player lost 20 hp a second that would be a lot better than insta death. They will want to leave after that... Plus it doesn't take more than 20 seconds to get out of jail more like 5-10 seconds judging on the map jail.
