Competitive Night Discussion

Use this thread to discuss the format of the upcoming CS:GO competitive night (date TBA).

The previous formats were:

• 10v10, with 20 maximum players, played on Mirage
  
• 20v20, with upto 40 maximum players, played on Cache
  

The latter format was not so popular and resulted in a cluster fuck.

Some ideas include running the comp night over 2 days with multiple 10v10 games (with for example up to 4 teams).
Share other ideas here, keep in mind upto 40 players (or even more) may want to participate.

I like the idea of 4x10 teams. Gives a lot of chances for players to join and also gives more depth to it as well.

20 v 20 if played on a map such as cobblestone or overpass where there are larger areas and longer lines of sight would be good but if it was in this format then multiple 10 v 10's would be preferable. BTW can there be team captains selected that choose teams, maybe globals or veterans as the people who choose their teams which would make it a bit more interesting.
