Hey do you think it would be cool to set up a weekly game night say every Saturday and we pick what to do through a straw poll and maybe Byte have it updated on the forums weekly???

Weekly would be way too much of a hassle, fortnightly keeps the novelty of the actual idea and reduces stress on those who setup events.
