This is just a quick idea I came up.
How about you have to have over a certain amount of play time wiether it be 5k 10k ect, to gift and receive credits? -1 and +1 are both appreciated just want to hear your guys thoughts! thanks.

Majority of the players with lots of credits have those play times and could just give it freely to the new members, we removed the function of gifting as the in game currency was practically useless and wanted to reward players for their playtime/purchasing credits.
