People declining you from joining their factions isn't something out of the ordinary.
It happens on most public servers.
If you have any friends that play MC you should invite them here and Create a Faction with them. When I normally play factions I like to invite my MC buddies to join my faction. From my experience, Its the fastest way to start a faction that grows rapidly and defend from raids.
In some cases your friend will start a Coup d'état and run with all the diamonds.
