Hey guys I have developed a list of possible changes that could be implemented to Ski_2 when Hello World or Byte is available. These are to make the map a bit nicer to play, or to increase the skill ceiling. I would also love some suggestions by others.
1. Removing the ladders on health tower and replace them with elevators which would propel you above the health tower and into the sky! Thus removing the annoyance of going all the way up the ladders which can take 30 seconds and give away your position.
2. Changing the boxes in jail and possibly replacing them with a ladder to remove the extreme annoyance of actually climbing the boxes and getting out. This would make jet pack a little bit less powerful giving new players a better chance of surviving.
3. Possibly removing the area under the top of elevator and replacing it by continuing the ramp all the way up to that platform. This would remove the camping spot and decrease camping in general as people will have to move to a worse tactical position.
4. Increasing the buy range in Mario room to actually encompass the entire room instead of the area just in front of the vending machine. I believe this will clear up confusion and actually make Mario room less of a camping room by allowing players to buy quickly and run to the exit.
5. Generally removing unnecessary ramps and clutter around the map. Examples include: the ramps to the left and behind of health tower, cleaning up the ramps going through the middle of the map and removing the ramps surrounding jail. I think these changes will help by removing ramps which nobody uses and are often ran into.
6. Possible adding another area to obtain the awp possibly on top of elevator because it's always annoying to have the awp being "stolen" at the start of every round. SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
