How to: Inspect Element on Forum Pages.

Now this is mainly for the ongoing Forum Banner contest, but you can do this any time with any picture or just doing it for a laugh
Note: THIS IS FOR CHROME USERS.


First Step: Get the picture you want for our forum banner, for this we'll be using Ownaj's great banner.

Second Step: Copy the image URL.

Third Step: Go onto the Portal page and right click the forum banner, then click "Inspect", a bunch of code should now be on the side of your screen.

Forth Step: Now that you have a bunch of code covering the bunch of your screen, there are different tabs, ensure you are on the "Styles" tab.

Fifth Step: There is a string of code in the Styles tab that says "background: #393b47 url(/images/bg/redpoly.png) top center;", where it says /images/bh/redpoly.png, REPLACE that with the link to the picture you want it as. It should now replace the original forum banner.

Now you're done! Just exit out of the code panel to see it full screen, if you want to change it again repeat all the steps with a different URL.
