Alright, i'll try and explain this as simple as possible. So currently on invex servers, when you hold your +jump bind as soon as the server detects your character touching the ground it will send a message to the server to make your character jump, this message will then be sent back to your pc and you will jump. How fast this happens all depends on your ping. If you go on invex and try and bhop with 60-70 ping (my normal) you will easily be able to notice a delay, almost as if you're sticking to the floor for a split second. If you cannot see this delay, put on a download to slow down your net, go on invex and bhop. You will have a delay of almost a second or more. Then, if you were to connect to another server with client side bhops, there would be no delay in your bhops whatsoever although you would still be lagging. With a client side bhop, the information that you are jumping does not need to be sent to the server and back. This makes things such as shooting while bhopping and knifing while bhopping much more consistent and reliable.
Although this may not seem like much of an issue to some, it definitely affects shooting/knifing people on maps such as bigloop and it also affects the servers popularity as some people cannot deal with the delay.
