Watch lots of map secret videos to help you rebel. The ones to look for are mainly gun spots or teleporter walls.
As for bhopping, strafing is a large part of escaping. Moving unexpectedly also helps too, for example, faking a quick left strafe and then flying down the right side.
Always look for when ct's aren't paying attention. If a CT turns around, goes off to chase someone, or generally is trash at the game, always take your chances. It always feels better to rebel and get a kill then get shot into a wall then dying to some now kid who just hit 180 minutes misinterpreting a map game and free killing you.
