So I know the EventMod is seriously outdated right now, however if any staff get to doing my other suggestion and update EventMod in the process (https://www.invexgaming.com.au/showthread.php?tid=8889) perhaps there is a chance that this can be implemented. So over the past year I'm pretty sure the only !voteevent rounds I have played are knife and free for all rounds. I have seen similar suggestions to what I am about to suggest stating something along the lines of make !voteevent rounds the same as voting for the next map although this isnt exactly what I am suggesting. Whenever somebodys does !voteevent and when the vote is up I feel as though many players decisions are influenced by what people say over voice. Whenever the vote comes up people voice their opinions and say something along the lines of "lets do a free for all" or "knife round! knife round!" I feel like people don't challenge these ideas instead just going along with the crowd and voting for the most wanted round being free for all.
So I've come up with an idea on how to change the way !voteevent works. I believe that there are 9 different pages of !voteevent rounds (Correct me if I am wrong) so I'm suggesting that we take one random round from each page each time !voteevent is done. This would be a good way to get some variety going whilst we play !voteevent rounds, and if you ask me, rounds like zeus rounds sound like much more fun to me than free for all rounds.
The second suggestion I have is to get 6 / 7 rounds which I belive is the current amount of different rounds that show up on a page, which are again randomized however this time around more than one round can be picked from each !voteevent round pages, but I suggest that Normal Round is always shown when !voteevent is typed just incase the players who don't like any of the rounds that are presented to them can then vote for just a Normal Round.
The third suggestion that I have is that instead of just having a set !voteevent layout with Free For All, Knife Round etc. on the first page every time, that every time !voteevent is typed the layout would be randomized meaning that Free For All Round could be on the 3rd page, while Zeus Round could be on the first. This means we could also get more variety on the !voteevent rounds but without limiting the players choices meaning if the players want a free for all round then they can scroll all the way to the 3rd page.
So yeah just tell me what you guys think about this or perhaps maybe suggest your own ways of improving EventMod to get round variety, or if you feel there are any flaws in my current ideas tell me and ill make sort some of excuse
