Reason for abuse report: Ok so after playing with this dude on the surf server he was talking to me for a while and long story short he wanted to buy my knife off me for real money, i didn't really want any other skins so the irl money would have been nice. Sooo i said yeah why not, seem like a genuine dude didn't have any -rep on profile (until now) (he tried to scam some other guy like 10 mins ago) So what he said was he would send money (had a screeny of it ready) if i fwd him the confirmation email for the trade offer as proof i would go through with it (not knowing that steam would allow other people to click accept trade; properties like that shouldn't carry over a email but wotevs) as you have probably put together as soon as i did that he somehow accepted the trade instantly blocked me.

Now i know this is my fault mainly for trusting him but what really pisses me off is that he has the nerve to keep playing on the server. I try to talk to him but no response. Undoubtedly he will try scam people again and probably from the server too.

Anything you guys can do to help ?

You should be more careful. When you forwarded him the email he just accepted the trade using the link himself.
Pretty obvious scam...
Also profile rep means nothing, why would rep there mean anything when you can delete the bad rep, use https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CSGOREPorts for rep.

Anyway, he has been banned so he can come here and discuss.

I had that happen to me once too Optik but I left it alone although losing it made sad I just kept playing because it was kind of the same with Viiper
