Rule Clarification

While the new rules are nice, there's a few things that are irritating / ambiguous / need to be clarified further IMO. I couldn't find a place for feedback (though to be fair I barely looked), so I'll dump it all here for consideration / conversation about it.

General rules - It would be nice for a rule to be added about begging / spamming text, because right now it just sort of feels like admins enforce it based on who the admin is and how they feel. Some sort of solid ruling (or better guideline) on one or both would be nice.

T4: PRISONERS who leave their cells using vents/teleporters/etc are considered to be escaping prisoners. - This seems like a pointless clarification. If "escaping prisoners" aren't automatically KOS / Rebels, then there's no reason for this rule, as wardens would already order that "anyone out of cells is KoS". Feels like it's just an extra rule for the sake of an extra rule.

No it is good, it gives CTS a chance to kill rebelling ts, e,g armoury Tele on Obama, prior to this rule it was NOT considered rebelling, and I got warned and slayed for killing ts in there, it is definitely NOT an extra rule, this rule was not here before and benefits us greatly. E.g not enough time to say out of cells Kos before ts open cells on clouds. So bad.

What I was saying is that the rule needs to be clarified, calling them Rebels instead of "Escaping Prisoners" - Escaping prisoners aren't explicity classed as rebelling or KoS. That's the problem.

Escaping Prisoners should be clarified as KOS in the jb terms section ie: Button freeze, Hot cell, KOS. Escaping pris should be in there as KOS

Unless they put in the definition as Escaping: All prisoners trying to escape are rebelling and that means they're kos that would make rule T4 much easier to understand

What do you mean a rule about begging / spamming text, It is a rule and you can be gaged for it??

There was someone spamming for about ~20 minutes last night without being gagged. It seems like it's much more up to the discretion (and mood) of the admins online, rather than a solid rule. Also, it was more about the begging itself than spamming.

OK Tgun, i completely see where you are comming from, ANY escaping prisoner is instantly rebelling even if no orders are given, ANY T is suppose to stay in cells before cell doors are open unless freeday. ANY T found outside of cells before any special day given, or cell doors are opened are considered KOS as they are rebelling. The spamming should be a warn, gag for 10 if he continues kick, then a ban should be issued. any spamming should be delt with, if no admins are on or arent doing anything about it please make an abuse report should be made with time date and demo if possible thankyou tgun

Yup, that's what I'm trying to say. The problem is with the wording right now, if they're out of cells they're just "escaping prisoners", which some admins take discretion as saying they aren't KoS / Rebelling. Hopefully Byte and/or the other people who contribute to the rules can give me an answer and say if it's intentional or not ^^;

Escaping prisoners are considered KOS, if you leave your cell in any way except the cell door (unless its a freeday) then expect to be shot at by the CT's unless the Warden decides to forgive you by saying "dont kill him" etc.
