Combat Bhop server

So many of you probably realise that a few weeks ago that the Minecraft server was taken down. Ever since that Byte  and Hello World have said they are looking for new server ideas so I thought we could add a combat Bhop server. Basically a lot of people really like the idea of a normal Bhop server with times ect but I find combat Bhop servers a lot more fun. IMO I think currently there arn't many servers that host a combat Bhop server (any popular ones) and I think this server could draw a whole lot of new people in to the Invex Community

If this were to be added there would have to be rules added ie no Negevs' M249S and Daks. Would also suggest on adding jet pack for a smaller price if added to the combat Bhop server as it makes the game mode a lot more fun and the people without it will get wrecked.

Thanks for the feed back. I understand where you coming from but there already a lot of normal ranked bhop servers. I doubt they will draw anyone new in. I thought maybe do something that many people arn't doing, but just do it on a bigger & better platform . As a server Byte and Hello World are always trying to draw new people in.

Maybe it's not popular because no servers could actually host a proper and good quality server. Anyway this is just an idea and all feedback is appreciated.

I think that this game mode would be cool, but i think invex gaming needs to dip its foot in other game modes first, like normal bhop!

Well like I said before! Don't you think normal Bhop is a bit boring and everyone does it? IMO this would draw a whole heaps of people in. And have you actually played on a combat Bhop server before? Like Rigsy said he did some research and he's all for the server now.

This server wouldn't be very practical if it is set up like combat surf because blue tacking and other over powered methods would be a huge problem in such small maps. I mean look at dust_2 (the surf map) or big loop, many of the complaints are to do with it actually being a bhop map instead of a surf map. I also feel that having a high ping on one of these maps may make it impossible to hit you at any decent speed.

Yes I have and with any more than six people in such a short area with such speed the game mode would be congested. Sorry i think it's a great idea but it wouldn't really work in practice that's probably why it's so unpopular.

From experience on playing Dust_2 (1.6) map it is quite easy to get speed if you learn the map and understand where to strafe ect. + maps like cache and mirage are really fun to play and easy to gain speed on.

I mean I take in feed back but I'm gonna have to disagree. From when I use to play Cactus Hop we would get 20 people on and it would be a blast. Wouldn't get congested at all tbh.
