Hey all,

So i was a warden during a round on renegade, and i decided to play a map game with jump rope. After i got all the t's inside the confinements of jump rope i pressed the button to open the cells and it started and killed everyone inside. I knew it was seen as a mass freekill so i just said "slay me" or something along those lines, i then received a warning.

I'm not too worried about being slayed / warned, however i wish that this little glitch with the "open cells" button killing everyone. I'm confused as to how it killed people as it let me open
the cells before hand and it didn't start.

Demo tick - 69,000+ shows me opening the doors and it not starting and then me reopening it and it starting.

and i'm not sure if this is a one off thing, and doesn't ever happen, but i think instances where killing this many people, makes it a big deal.

IMO you shouldn't be warned because countless times I have seen this happen when it's not the wardens fault but simply the games.

Yeah this happens a lot.
I think because the button "hit box" or whatever you call it is so big when your click the "Open Cells" button from a distance it thinks you're clicking the start button, next time just jump on the control panel and be above the open cells button and press E. Trust me, I've done it before

You need to stand more in front of the open cells button you interacted with the one next to it.

That's weird, is there a possibility of fixing the "hitboxs" of the buttons? That gap between the "start" and "open cell" button should be a gap, not part of a button.

It's just how the map is, be more careful in the future now you are aware.

If things like this happen on accident admins don't need to warn.
