I gamed a lot during Year 12 and all of Uni and did very very well.
This is pretty much true for all subjects with the exception of medicine which is full on 24/7.
Anyway, your choice but being organised and knowing when to separate play/work time is much better imo as the other option (study all the time) is probably not going to happen.
