Hey guys,

I was thinking that instead of it saying what the next map will be privately to the player, if one person does it, it announcesit to the whole server. It would have like a 30 second cooldown or something for everyone.

Your Thoughts?

!nextmap would just flood the server, not everyone needs to know what the next map is.

-1 won't be spammy with 30 sec cooldown but if I didn't notice someone do it in chat, I have to wait the whole 30 seconds before I can check what the next map is just for myself

I get the merit of the idea however I don't think it works well in practice.

People that do !nextmap probably don't look at the chat much because they have missed the map vote so they will probably miss a public announcement of the next map. Also, coming closer to the end of the map loads more people will be doing !nextmap and (if there is a 30 second cool down) loads of people who don't look at the chat won't be able to read get the nextmap. I mean you could set up different commands but that just confuses thins, isn't really necessary and is just more work for those coding it.
