I was playing on the 1v1 server on aim_map, I was positive with 4 kills and 1 death (I think) The admin "Maz" wasn't speaking or anything and if I recall correctly was near the bottom. I was being friendly and making friends with someone called VeganB and all of a sudden I got banned. The reason was for "hacking" even though I had barely done 5 rounds, didn't do anything crazy nor did he have any proof AT ALL. Could I please get some clarification or proof if I was "cheating"?\

Hi guys, I'm here to gladly and proudly present some work of mine, if you guys would like to see some please comment yes or no, I have been a small and hard working gfx artist for my friends team ANZA, we general,u are a competitive clan but for now I haven't been doing nothing, I'd like to share some of my clans artwork and some other things such as sketches and templates, also if you guys are down I'll teach anybody for free some photoshop things if they are unexperienced. I also would like to share some templates and by all means any invex member can use them, they aren't based of anything just general sketches that I found to be cool and somewhat different, anyways here's to discuss my style, I'm a GFX artist who generally uses other content to provide my niche to other people who I serve, I don't like watching YouTube videos about it as stupid as it sounds, I want to become my own sort of style and sorta character, I don't wanna ghost along with people on yt etc. I am learning slowly but surely and am able to make income because of this, also comment if you do want a profile picture from my templates, I'm glad to see all of you guys welcoming me btw and I thank you, I hope this will just branch and show my personality AHAHA, idk. Whatever guys I hope you enjoyed having a little read, take it easy
Hey guys,
I would like to apply for member again. I understand that i can only post after 1 week of my last one but i got special permission . Anyway, i think i deserve member because i am VERY active on the fourms. I play on the server/s on only the weekends. I want to be member so i can be officially in the invex community and i also want to reply to some admin apps with my opinion.
Some of you might know, my friend created the group untap, and along with it, untap_priv. I've had numerous people private messaging me that some member have been untap_priv have been spinbotting or queueing with rage hackers. If this happens, please post a photo of it and the game ID so I can kick them.
If they are hacking with the "untap" tag, I can't do much seeing as untap is a public group. But if ANYONE from the private group is hacking please alert me straight away so I can kick them.
The group is getting some pretty bad rep so I want to clean it up a bit. I posted an announcement (7/06/16) in the group and anybody that queues with/spinbots will get booted.
This is a post to let the community know what happened with Trident and why some players are leaving the community.
I was going to keep this private out of respect for Trident and others but as our private message system is being spammed with ads by their community, I will share.
Essential this is what happened:
A player and Trident (as well as 4 other people) play a Rocket League match together. This was a custom game they set up. They talked shit to each other in game (saying 'easy' after every goal)
Someone disconnects in the game which makes it an unfair game.
Trident then joins this players TS3 channel (which is meant to be private/password protected but Trident could override that as global) which is misuse of Teamspeak admin.
Both continue to talk shit in this Teamspeak channel. This player then says to Trident: "Just relax its just a bit of banter"
Trident then permanently bans this player and another player in the channel (the second player wasn't even involved)
Player posts abuse report asking for unban saying the banter went both ways and that a permanent ban is unfair
Trident abuses the player through a reply to his abuse report, insults him and his mother (https://i.imgur.com/dh9RlTv.png), disgusting stuff really, i'm sure most would agree
I (Byte) ask that Trident apologizes to the player for the insults, then we would process the abuse report
Trident refuses to apologize and says "If he isn't banned by tomorrow I'm leaving"
All the upper admin team agree that the other player isn't going to be unfairly banned as he didn't do anything wrong (remember they agreed to play rocket league together, this didnt happen on an Invex server)
All the upper admin team tell him to sleep on it and come back tomorrow (to get rid of the anger), at least 4 different admins told him to do this, he doesn't leave and continues to argue with various admins on Facebook, TS3 and Steam
Trident resigns (demote himself) 2 hours later
Trident leaves saying he wants to make his own community
Various players also leave to join Tridents new community
Some of these players start advertising the new community by directly PM'ing people (spam) and advertising on the game servers (which led to a few bans/demotions).
When a player leaves like that there isn't much we can do keep them. We definitely liked having Trident on the team as he put in a lot of effort into the community. However, Invex was built on the foundation of fairness. Every admin since 2014 has been told to be lenient and accepting of players (young or old).We won't unfairly punish players even if it means losing a higher up admin, this isn't my community or Tridents community or anybody else's community, this is our community.Every player is expected to follow our rules and be accountable for their actions.
Invex won't die because of these players leaving, collectively our admin team has put in years of work into our servers, custom plugins, forums, and building our community and social media. We have 3200 steam members, 200K monthly website hits, 2k+ daily payers and have grown to become the #1 Jailbreak server in OCE and the #1 Combat Surf/Surf FFA DM in OCE and we aren't stopping there. All of our servers (with the exception of Minecraft) are typically full at all hours of the day thanks to the amazing community players, Invex members and the fantastic admin team. Our Youtube channel is also quite active (thank you Mav) and we hold regular community nights for players to look forward to which have led to some pretty awesome moments (@lews 7k tec9 clutch anyone?)All donations we receive are put towards server costs and any profit is given back to the community via giveaways or put towards upgrades, new features or new servers. We plan to expand into other games soon and add 2-3 new CSGO servers over the coming months. We aren't going anywhere, we are only going to grow bigger!
The above events are the truth and everything I have said is verifiable with proof (ev0, Mav, Luke as well as others have chat logs and recordings). We hope you guys enjoy what we are doing and we will work even harder in the future to improve all aspects of the community (I'll get working on those suggestions right after exams <3).
Also a friendly reminder that we do have a Invex member requirement that you are not a member in another community (small MM comp teams etc are fine). If you do wish to join another community, this means that you will lose your Invex member status and all associated ranks.
Thank you! You are all amazing memers and I'm proud to know you.
Signing out,
Challenger rank #8 Yasuo OCE
PS: I have left this thread open so some discussion can happen. Globals/Staff feel free to respond to questions here but please don't spam or advertise (or name and shame anybody). Thanks!
i am applying for jailbreak admin because i think that it needs alot more admins since lots of them left. i know most of the rules of jailbreak and gone over them a couple times, I’ve played jailbreak for about 4-5 months and have 300+ Hours and play about 5-7 hours a day.
another reason why i want to be admin is that when there is no admins on I can be there to stop people from doing the wrong thing, things like: mic spam, cts breaking rules, false orders, etc.
I think that i’ve worked out what and how long i should punish people for when they do something wrong.
Please comment feedback so I can learn from them as this is my first admin application.
Alright, please bear with me when reading this 'guide' of sorts. First time writing a guide for Invex and for a specific server, so feel free to give feedback and correct errors.
First off, The Rules. Make sure you read them closely and carefully before playing on both of the Invex retake servers.
Quote, link. (ByteHello World please sticky the rules in the retakes section.)
With that out of the way, let's get into the topic of this guide: Retakes, and being a CT.
The Retake Servers
Retake Servers are unique in the way that they allow players to simulate a bombsite retake using both side's primary weapons (M4s, the AK47 and the AWP on the normal retake servers, and the pistols excluding the CZ-75 Auto and R8 Revolver on the pistols only retake servers) and a random grenade. They are one of the best ways to practice and warm up due to combining real time nade practice, aim, situational awareness, teamwork and tactics in one situation. As such they are a valuable type of server and we are fortunate enough at Invex to have not one but two to play on.
Round Start
At round start, CTs are spawned out of sight of the Ts and must make their way to the bombsite. The bomb will also be planted. If you have the bomb (as a T), please plant it. You have 2 seconds to plant before the actual timer starts so you will not be that late.
From there, CTs will launch their retake with names and peeking, while the Ts aim to prevent this also with nades and overlapping fields of fire. As a T all you must do is hold the CTs off until the bomb explodes, so your job as a CT is significantly harder. You have to attack, not them. You will also notice that there are only 4 Ts vs 5 CTs. This is because it is always much easier to defend a site than attack it, which is why CTs only need 2 or 3 to hold one site on normal competitive matches.
Note that Ts can easily peek CTs at the start of the round and get quick entry frags, most notably on both Shorts on Overpass and Bombsite B on Dust 2. Ts will peek the double doors as soon as the round starts to try and get an easy headshot on an unsuspecting CT. Be aware of such events as a CT, and try to even the numbers quickly as a T.
This is the phase where bad timing and preparation will kill you fast.
Entering Into The Bombsite
This phase usually is the longest phase on the Retakes server. This is when the CTs are in cover immediately outside the site and must enter the site to clear it and commence the defuse. It is long because people are often indecisive about whether to enter or not and possible dangers, leading to lots of baiting and rage.
A co-ordinated entry is vital, or there will be the greatest slaughter. Numbers is also important, as on some bomb sites (especially B on dust 2) even pro teams will choose to save as CTs when there are even numbers (3v3) because even a 3v2 can easily be turned into a win for the Ts. Especially if you go in one by one into the bombsite it will just be an easy turkey shoot for the T's unless somehow, you can pull off a NiP retake. (MAJIC!)
At first, peek quickly and assess the situation inside the site using the information you saw. Where is the enemy? Where is the bomb? Where is the awper? Later on you will also have to ask: Can I hear any movement or guns? What are my teammates on the other point of entry doing? Did they die? How many terrorists have died so far? These are important questions because they will influence your decision on whether to enter or NOT.
Where is the enemy?
Obvious one, if you can't see any enemies in site, that means that either they're all or almost all dead, there are smokes up, your other teammates died e.g in tuns on dust 2 and they are watching from there/flanking, or some silly bugger is waiting to ambush you or your buddies as soon as you enter the site. Otherwise, you should be shot at or will see several ts standing in site, either aiming at you or others. If there is an awper aiming at you, either back away or shoulder peek to bait out a shot then engage. If they are not looking at you you should shoot them in the head. If there are smokes up, you should probably wait until they clear, especially if there are 3 or more Ts still alive. If your other teammates were 70741 n0085, and died you should watch behind you and watch the entrance that they were killed from. If you can't see anyone and know someone is still alive in site make sure to peek and prefire camp spots. Basic stuff.
Where is the bomb?
Not as obvious, but it is important to know if you can smoke it or ninja it if you have to, e.g if the bomb is planted in the corner closest to the doors on B site Dust 2 don't ninja it. Please. Unless it's the only thing left you can do. You can also pre aim common spots where Ts will peek when they hear a defuse sound.
Where is the AWPer?
Really REALLY important, a competent awper (e.g n8 bizeps) can rip apart a team easily even in 1vx odds, better not to take a chance. If you have the AWP, try and take him out straightaway and target him specifically, check the minimap and sounds to locate him. If you don't have an AWP then you need to be very very careful, especially if you are alone or in a tight choke point e.g Long A and upper Tuns on B on Dust 2, never peek fully if you are in that situation unless you know the awper is somewhere else or dead. Only after you know it's not an awper guarding an entry point you could win but otherwise you will evaporate faster than n8 bizeps against yours truly (and thats really fast!). absolute WORST case scenario your incompetent n008 of an AWPer dies instantly and the KennyS on the other team picks it up, now you have GuardiaN and Kenny blowing the shit out of all the CTs, in that case you should run. Run before they get you. Jokes aside its pretty much impossible to retake a site unless they are the only two left and you have at least 3 then maybe M4 > AWP but else you're dead.
Can I hear any movement or guns?
Listen closely, can you hear the idiot on the other side of bathroom running through? Yeah, shoot his head off as soon as he peeks. Can you hear the AWP at long? Yeah best not to peek him from site with an M4 later then. If you know where the enemy is you have a huge ass chance to kill him, but remember good players can hear you as well and will peek you if you take too long or he will pre aim your fat head when he hears your arse running through the doors. This is also the reason why pros always walk when near potential CTs, don't want to be giving up that precious info do we.
What are my teammates on the other point of entry doing? Did they die?
an important question. If you can, try and coordinate with them and push as they do. If they died instantly, remember to watch your back and where they were, or you will get shot from nowhere. Also, if they are hiding, it doesn't mean that they're doing nothing, they could be distracting an AWPer so you can step in and kill him. Try and coordinate your push. Also, if you don't push when they do, you're a disgrace to CS everywhere, lower than a silver, otherwise known as a BAITER, these are the scum of the earth, don't be like them.
How many terrorists have died so far? VERY IMPORTANT.
You need to know this at all times. Either tab frequently or change your game settings by entering "cl_hud_playercount_showcount "1"" into your autoexec or console so that it looks like this:
It shows the number of CTs and Ts that are still alive.
You are not going to rush into a site with 4 Ts, but you might if there are only 2. I am too lazy to explain the rest of this concept as it should be common knowledge by now.
This is the phase in which CTs are definitely the most likely to die.
Defusing the Bomb
All right so you've entered the site, due to your sickass headshotting skills and great team, all the Ts are dead (or alive). What now? Well, the ultimate goal of all retakes in CSGO are to defuse the bomb. Because Invex is such a generous and kind community, they have given you each defuse kits, completely free. These only take 5 seconds to defuse a bomb instead of the normal 10. If you're really really lucky, you get to defuse a bomb in peace, with only your angry teammates knifing you and shooting in the head (enable team damage plz), and it means you have accomplished a successful retake! Good on you. However, if you're unlucky, then you'll be in a 2v1 situation. Not so bad, right? NO, especially if the T has an AWP or you don't have a smoke, or you don't even know where he is. In that case, you or your best bud will have to defuse while one of you watch the entrance/s. If he's good, then the T will die. If he's bad, he will die but you will make the defuse. If he's unlucky, then the T peeks you straight after and blows your brains out! Boom! If you're unlucky, instead of killing your teammate, the T will instead peek out and kill YOU, often when the timer is 4 seconds into the defuse and there is only 2 seconds left on the bomb. So the T always has such an advantage. But if you're really, REALLY unlucky (jk its ur Fking n008 team they need to slit their wrists omg ffs), then you'll have to defuse alone in a 1vx scenario, probably in a smoke if you have some luck or without one, where you'll probably get your brains splattered on the rock beside you. Worse, if the bomb is planted in a corner with small space like the aforementioned spot on Bombsite B, with or without smoke you'll probably die as well. You could fake defuse but those never work and pros never fake anyway.
The End.
