No knife on surf

Being alone on surf spawns you without a knife. I've tried reconnecting, respawning and map changing, but it spawns and instantly takes away the knife.
EDIT: With someone else joined still not spawning with a knife, but they have one(they weren't using !knife or from what I know). Maybe it's !knife? dood.
