Fixed.
This had nothing to do with the jbtb (Jailbreak Team Balance) plugin but rather the playtime plugin which jbtb used.
Each time people were pressing M+2, a playtime check was being done which was not cached OR threaded, meaning it was super slow and lagged out the server while it completed.
The playtime plugin has been rewritten to fully cache everything and only do 1 threaded query per connect/disconnect.
