I agree with this mostly, and another thing I'd like to add with the credit system is that there was no way to really get rid of your credits, so as a way of creating a "gold sink" into the system I take inspiration from OSRS and more specifically bots. There are dicing bots that roll from 1-100 and 55+ wins so you have less chance of winning than losing, I'm sure you get where I am going with this but I have another option as well. Staking (which is 50/50 odds) had an update relatively recently that introduced another "gold sink" which I suggest if you were to be able to coinflip other players, essentially there is a tax which could be used in CSGO. As an example if you bet 100 credits 50/50 odds against another player the winner gets 180 not 200 the percentages are also based on the amount of credits bet for example 10000 might be 1% tax whereas 10000000 is 2.5%. These values can be adjusted but these are my thoughts if there were to be gambling added for credits, as an earlier point mentioned the cost of skins/jetpack/etc being too cheap.
