Ok, this is all I've got for now but will add to this list as I get more ideas:
1. Add in an invex logo and your name to add us as the original creator (like dragon with made by Blurrly) so that everyone knows who made it
2. Look at clouds and obama for some cool map tricks, cant list too many here but like itd be cool to have some teles about the actual map to break it up (idk what a good way to implement cause I dont know your map) maybe just have some teles for different map games so you dont need to adjust proportions too much if you want to add a map game. Another fun thing could be your own take on the Robama care. (Basically add in different secrets that are really fun but not necessarily helpful to rebels.
3. A variant of PDR and Dr would always be fun cause those can are always pretty good.
4. Maybe take a bit from undertale and have something to do in cells and a delayed cell button which could make the inbetween time pretty fun.
5. Take from minecraft and chuck P250s everywhere so that rebels have somewhere to get weapons but not having to go to armoury
6. Have a unique or semi-unique colour/idea scheme to tie your map together. This could be a favourite video game or a specific art style like cartoons or steampunk.
7. "Play test it" Basically get some friends together on just a lobby and play jb without all the plugins and see how it all plays out and if either guards or rebels are overpowered and balance them accordingly.
8. Have high and low skill ceilings. Basically try to make it linear so that new people can play (signs every where and just a good layout thats clear) while still having things that take veteran players years to master. (think extreme climb different map secrets and the like)
9. Be experimental, go places no one has gone before and see what works and what doesnt to give it a real feel
10. If it does get added work closes with the jb community, admin team and staff to attempt to take on feedback and improve it (have a great platform to test on.
11. Keep in mind special days and make areas that would work with them.
12. Look at different minigame servers and things that have caught on and make things that work with them. (ask me in shoutbox if you want some examples)
13. Make you able to rebel straight out of the gate (think clouds, obama) but make sure to make it extremely difficult so its difficult for inexperienced ts to do so.
14. Go through the different maps in your own time and look for different minigames that you enjoy and try to replicate them and then improve them in your own map.
Now for some concrete ideas:

2. Climb of different intensities (easy, hard, exteme, ect) look at clouds and peanut climb for ideas of different jumps
3. Colour Jump
4. Knife arena
5. An area for warday (sorta referenced this earlier)
6. Hentai room (kek)
7. Designated places for lr (gun toss shot4shot)
8. Good armoury, dont do any of that pussy shit with just aks and scouts have awps and maybe daks depending how easy it is to rebel
9. Upper areas for cts to have a positional advantage (undertale catwalks)
10. Dodgecourse
11. Unique guncheck line. Put a design on it and make it your own/.
12. Have clean stair clips (google 3kliksphilip stair clipping)
13. Make it multi layered. With an elevator to lower regions (easy way to get in huge map games without fucking up your map.
