well it started when this guy changed his name then another guy said "you should keep changing ur name" so i did and R.I.P me, sorry for not knowing that you could get ban because of that
I believe that there is no "hacking" in this situation for name changing abuse, just people changing names a lot in a certain amount of time.
There has been 3 people (jfanG, Wolf and @AfricanWetDream) that have been permanently banned for this today, which I highly doubt was hacking, to me they are trusted as they play a lot (except Wolf, idk who he is lol).
Maybe a re-check of that auto ban plugin you use for quick name changes? Maybe the new update screwed with it? Is it up to date? Etc.
Anyways, I just don't think this would happen 3 times in one day and with players that play a lot.

I've been thinking about sprays on Jailbreak for a bit and i talked to Hello World about it, It shouldn't be too hard to implement and my idea for it is to have a spray section in the store where you purchase sprays for credits (Credit sink since there's so many credits floating about atm) these sprays would be bindable like jetpack (bind sm_spray "key") and whatever spray you had equipped would be sprayed onto the surface you are looking at (within a close-ish distance) sprays are basically a picture of something that you buy and then can spray onto walls ye

I was playing Jailbreak when someone freekilled me and since alive people cant see dead people's chat, i changed my name so he could see the message. (i saw someone else doing this so i didn't know you could get banned for it). Then, after a few seconds i got banned for an hour. I was really confused and didn't know why i got banned. I asked people in the public chat why i got banned, and they said i was changing names. I apologized and waited for an hour to play on the server again. Then, 4 hours later i got banned permanently by Hello World. I was once again really confused because i didn't do anything wrong. I checked the ban list and i was banned for name changing which i only did once. Please unban me, i honestly didn't know name changing was bannable. I really enjoyed playing jailbreak on Invex servers. I am truly sorry and I will promise that I will never do it again. Thank you
I was using a friend's computer and her Steam account as I forgot the password to my account, she has a VPN called TrustZone because she downloads movies and such. I also changed her name from CoryRose as I joined the server, I think that had something to do with the name change abuse? I was wondering if I could be unbanned?
Hey guys, im not really that bothered with this particular instance but none the less, I joined the server as i have been for a few weeks now surfing doing my thing masta not long after joined the server putting on a childs fake voice spamming mic which wouldnt be so bad if people werent all complaining asking him to stop he continued the mic spam then muted "kermit the frog" for asking him to stop repetitively.
while playing i watched Masta fall into jail so i proceeded to follow in kill him not 5 seconds later i was slain and aggressively warned that jail and telecamping will get me banned and i am a scum and a bad player for doing this, now heres where things get interesting i proceeded to tell him that i did not infact tele camp him that i spawned in there after he did... 90% of the server at the time saw this happen and backed me up and agreed with me. Masta did not agree with this statement and again threatened me i explained what happened and he continued to warn me everyone at this point was saying to him trying to explain what happened and he refused to listen muting and gagging people that disagreed with him which i think is a complete and utter abuse of power! Muting people that disagree with you is not how i expect and admin to act on a server, and this leads me to believe that the admin Masta is too young to hand such responsibilities and the power to mute and gag people for just trying to let him know what happened, I was frustrated at the fact that he was too incompitent to understand mine and everyone elses shared perspective and stated to him that i think he is to young to be admin and handle situations like this and he handled it completely wrong and he had no idea what he was talking about i may have lashed out a little and told him he was what was wrong with his generation... i was not warned about anything i was 1 hr muted and slayed the next round instantly. Now i do not mind about the 1 hr mute or being slayed but the entire map after he was accusing people of telecamping which everyone was disagreeing with and he was muting also anyone else who tried to say something and was threatening everyone... i would just something to be done so that childish acts like this do not happen again.
PSA: We are aware of the bugs with the boosters on the different maps, this was due to a valve patch and we are wokring on it, please keep with us while we
sort to fix this issue
